How do you know when it is time to redesign versus just refresh your website?

A refresh updates the surface: colours, fonts, imagery, and visual polish, while the underlying structure and strategy remain intact. A redesign addresses the foundation of how the site is organized, what story it tells, and whether the experience reflects your current market position.

Do you build websites or just design them?

We handle both design and development. Our process moves from strategy and visual direction through design to a fully built, launch-ready website.

We work primarily in Webflow or Wordpress, which gives your team the ability to manage and update content independently after handoff without needing a developer for every change.

If you have an existing development team or a preferred platform, we can design to hand off to them instead.

How long does a website design project take?

Most projects run eight to fourteen weeks from Discovery through to launch depending on the size of the site, the complexity of the content, and how much brand strategy work has already been done.

If your brand identity and messaging are already defined, the process moves faster. If there are gaps in positioning or visual identity that need to be addressed first, we factor that into the timeline.

We align on a realistic schedule during Scope Review before any work begins.

What is a design system and do we need one for our website?

A design system is a structured library of components, typography rules, colour standards, and layout patterns that governs how your website looks and behaves consistently across every page. You need one if you plan to add pages, run campaigns, or update content after launch without the site degrading in quality over time.

Without it, every new addition becomes a decision made in isolation and the visual consistency that signals professionalism starts to erode. We build the design system into every project so your site scales cleanly.

What happens if our brand identity needs work before the website can be built?

A website can only be as strong as the brand strategy behind it.

If your positioning is unclear, your messaging is inconsistent, or your visual identity is outdated, those problems will show up in the site no matter how well it is designed. We flag this during Discovery and address it before the website work begins.
