It’s 2009 and I just received my new Yellow Pages directory. I arrive home to find it sitting on my doorstep, like a package from a friend or a special delivery. As I surf through my favorite news sites with a possible indulgence in a retail site or two, I glance down the bar and see the directory – the big, cumbersome annoying directory – that has been a staple in my household since I was a kid and I ask, “do I need this, is it of use to me, why do I keep it, did I even open last year’s?
